About Us

Every dog is different. Their training should be too.

Dauntless Dogs was built on the belief that every dog deserves to be seen as an individual. Through thoughtful training, honest guidance, and real-world support, we help dogs and their people build stronger, happier lives together.

Our Story

Dauntless Dogs started with a simple love for dogs and a stubborn belief that training should never be one-size-fits-all. Our story began in a big-box store, where we first found our footing as trainers and discovered just how much we loved helping dogs and their people understand each other better.

But over time, we realized we wanted to do more than follow a standard program. Every dog we met had a different personality, a different history, and a different reason for walking through the door. Some needed confidence. Some needed structure. Some needed better communication with their owners. And some just needed someone to look at them as an individual instead of a checklist.

That belief became the foundation of Dauntless Dogs.

We built Dauntless so we could offer training that actually fits the dog in front of us. We continue to learn from different trainers, methods, tools, and experiences because no single approach works for every dog or every family. Our goal is not to force dogs into a box. It is to help owners find what makes sense for their dog, their home, and their real life.

Today, Dauntless Dogs is a place for dogs to learn, play, build confidence, and grow. Whether you come to us for group classes, private training, daycare, boarding, or just guidance when you feel stuck, we are here to meet you with patience, honesty, and practical support.

At the heart of it all, we want the same thing you do: a happier dog, a stronger relationship, and a life together that feels a little easier.

The Pack

Meet The Pack

Our pack is instrumental to helping with the training and rehabilitation of many dogs and teaching their owners to become better handlers. We trust their judgement just as much as they trust ours, without them our jobs would be much harder.

Zeno the Belgian Mainois mix

Zeno

Zeno is the oldest member of the pack and a Malinois mix who has been helping train dogs for most of his life. He has spent years working alongside us, teaching other dogs manners, confidence, and social skills with the kind of steady experience only an old pro can offer.

These days, Zeno is technically “retired,” though he definitely did not get the memo. Chronic back pain and a little less patience in his old age have slowed him down, but he still loves coming to work and being part of the action whenever he can.

Kairi the chihuahua in grass

Kairi

Kairi is our OG small dog and the matriarch of Casey’s house. She loves coming to work and helping change people’s perspective on small dogs, proving that little dogs are just as capable, clever, and trainable as the big ones.

She is a true social butterfly with plenty of charm and more than a few cool tricks up her sleeve. Kairi is always happy to show off, make new friends, and remind everyone that size has nothing to do with confidence or skill.

Skylar the pit mix working dog. Pointer mix

Skylar

Skylar is another senior member of the Dauntless pack, though with her endless energy, you would think she was still a puppy instead of well into double digits. She is a retired service dog, but retirement has not done much to slow her down.

Her favorite pastimes include making sure Angela always has her keys and picking up anything someone sets down and might possibly lose. Skylar loves having a job, loves being useful, and no one is going to convince her otherwise.

American Pitbull Terrier at Dauntless Dogs

Alfalfa

Alfalfa is a familiar face to most of the Dauntless pack. He is Casey’s sweet resident blockhead American Pit Bull Terrier, known for being gentle, goofy, and sweet as pie, even if he can be a little wary of strangers at first.

He loves helping as a demo dog in classes, especially when snacks are involved. Alfalfa is always happy to show off his skills, enjoy some attention from his favorite people, and spend time with his best friend of all time, Lil Dude.

Tamaskan wolfdog i the snow

Fallon

Fallon is the newest member of the Dauntless pack and a Tamaskan Dog, a breed Casey has wanted for a very, very long time. He is hard-headed and very much a teenager, but he is also incredibly smart and loves learning new things almost as much as he loves causing trouble.

He has a special love for kids and, with time, will hopefully take over Zeno’s mantle as one of our main helper dogs. First, we just have to survive his teenage phase.

Class helper Sirius the shepherd mix on a klimb platform

Sirius

Sirius is Jacob’s dog and a familiar face around Dauntless Dogs. He originally came to us as a client’s dog and worked through several classes, but it became clear that his intense need to chase and attack anything on wheels was not safe for his previous environment. Jacob stepped in and adopted him, giving Sirius the structure and outlet he needed.

These days, Sirius is a silly, goofy boy who loves to play and help out in classes. He is always happy to show off his drive, whether he is working for toys, food, or just the chance to have a good time.

Longhair chihuahua in the grass

Lil Dude

Lil Dude is one of our regular small dog helpers and brings plenty of personality in a tiny package. He is sassy, social, and fully convinced he is the same size as his best friend, Alfalfa.

He is proudly carrying on the torch Kairi helped light in the Dauntless pack, showing people just how fun, capable, and lovable little dogs can be. Lil Dude is always happy to make new friends and win over anyone who may have underestimated the small dogs.

Belgian maliois female on tree stump

Ryder

Ryder is Leah's Belgian Malinois who is equal parts chaos and heart. She originally brought her home as a service dog prospect, but she ended up being too aloof and uninterested in people to truly enjoy that role, so Leah made the call to wash her.

Even so, she’s been a life changer for her; her presence, loyalty, and constant shadowing have done more for my mental health than she ever expected. She’s wildly energetic, a little weird, hilariously clumsy, and completely unforgettable. Ryder may not have followed the path she planned, but she became exactly what Leah needed.

Pitbull chihuahua mix in the grass

Draco

Draco is a familiar face around Dauntless and our resident Pit-huahua. He is Angie’s right-hand man, a working service dog, and an all-around friendly, helpful guy who loves being part of the action.

His besties are Zeno and Kairi, and if you see him around, he will be more than happy to snuggle up for some quality cuddling. Draco is especially great with nervous dogs and has a real talent for helping them come out of their shell.
